ANNOUNCEMENT – TIME TO RAISE THE ROOF!
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a £75,000 grant to upgrade our leaking pavilion roof and install four, new, state-of-the-art, non-turf practice nets.
This Inspired Facilities Award from Sports England is the result of a substantial effort dating back to October 2015.
Following the club survey which identified the need to improve these facilities, we undertook the lengthy, detailed and highly competitive process of applying for funding from the National Lottery-funded programme.
A condition of the award is that the Club must also contribute financially to the work. We need to raise a further £10,000 to secure these improvements which will substantially improve our training facilities and benefit all our playing and non-playing members for years to come.
We are planning some fundraising projects which we will tell you about shortly. There will be activities for all age groups including an End of Season Dinner in September – more details to follow very soon.
