On a weekend blighted by dodgy wickets, Simon took one look at the wicket, which was cunningly camoflaged beneath swathes of green Clover and Dandylions, and decided to bat on winning the toss.The batters really toughed it out. Dave Evans hit a magnificent 67 and was supported by Neil and Shane. Our taget of 187 was never going to be reached. Bill Rebello made the ball talk and even had one batter running to square leg!! All of the bowlers were aided by some solid fielding, no repeat of the 10 drops when from the corresponding home fixture today.
