HARROW TOWN v The Stanmore Cricket Club Under 13B on Tue 10 Jun 2014 at 6.00pm
The Stanmore Cricket Club Won BY 53 RUNS

Match report My first trip to Harrow Town and found that it was not easy to find, as did others.
However, we arrived and discovered a nice wicket with a very hard and very fast outfield.
CAPTAIN KEERTHIGAN lost the toss and we were invited to bat.
We got off to a flyer! Mainly thanks to SAM GOODMAN who absolutely smashed an extremely quick 54, only scoring his first single when he was on 46! 3 sixes and 8 fours! Well done Sam.
We raced to 98-2 from our first 10 overs This included a 6 from ROHAN BHARADIA, which was signalled triumphantly by his proud father who was umpiring. It then slowed a bit until CAPTAIN KEERTHIGAN hit a speedy 22. We finished on 165 for 6. A good target.
Generally bowling has been a strong point and most fielding has not been bad, but we let ourselves down a bit in this match. 10 runs in Wides is too many. 18 runs in No Balls is far too many. Sloppiness in the field caused us to give runs away. Long barrier, body behind the ball, don't get sucked in too close; all things we had practiced and spoken about!!
Still, another win, which keeps us unbeaten this season.
