The Stanmore Cricket Club Under 13B v RUISLIP on Tue 03 Jun 2014 at 6.00pm
The Stanmore Cricket Club Won BY 7 WICKETS

Match report We managed to get the match in in between the showers. The wicket was excellent and stood up to the running and bowling that was all over it. Many many thanks again to the helpful parents; especially Dad Rohan for umpiring again, Dad Ashir for scoring and Dad Mikhail for boundary organisation.
CAPTAIN KEERTHIGAN lost the toss and Stanmore were invited to bowl.
JEEVAN SIDHU and SAMAD SALEEM opened up and kept it reasonably tight and took a couple of wickets. The spinning HARSHNIL VARSANI then came on and bowled 2 maidens to rein in the runs. A younger version of Varsani also joined us for the match as we were one short and he managed a good tidy over. Thanks for playing RAHUL!
We restricted Ruislip to 60 for 7 from their 20 overs. Much MUCH better in the Extras Department...only TWO wides and ONE no ball. An excellent return.
Rain looked imminent, so we went straight out and got on with it. SAM GOODMAN certainly didn't hang about and smashed 32 very quickly, with 6 fours. We kept the score box busy and reached our target nice and quickly for just 3 wickets.
Another good win boys, with definite improvements in the field and not so generous with the Extras.
