Match report This was the first chance for this years U13s to measure themselves against Eastcote.
In a 15 over game our bowlers restricted Eastcote to 104 for 5 the pick being Dhylan 2 for 16 from 3 overs and Jishoan 0 for 13 from 3 overs.
Chasing seven an over was achievable even though batters have to retire on reaching 30. However, Eastcote bowled and fielded well, taking regular wickets. With only Harry, reaching 30 from 20 balls, having to retire we were struggling to make runs quickly enough.
Ultimately we scored 77 for 7 from our 15 overs.
Although we lost I felt that we showed enough to believe that we can compete in the league matches later in the season.
