Match report A high scoring exciting match up on The Common, but a defeat for the U13C.
We lost the toss and had to bat first.
We posted a good competitive score of 121 in our 20 overs. The pitch was small, so it was always going to be a high scoring match.
Pinner B reached the target in the 19th over. Basically we needed to take at least another three wickets, and take the 5 dropped catches.
However, we batted quite well, although we gave them 5 catches. Maybe we keep hitting the ball up in the air too much.
ROHAN BHARADIA top scored with 25 and KARNAN SEMBIAN hit a good 21. AAKEASH SURESH made a good 18.
Bowling wise, we were generally quite tight, but a couplke of big overs allowed them the chance to get close to the target.
Best bowling from RIKAZ NAYAS who took 2 - 15.
