Match report At last some warmth and dry weather meant that the 13As could play what was only their third league match of the season. With exams over we had almost a full squad to choose from.

Greg won the toss and chose to bowl. Only Thomas Stock of our normal opening bowlers was available and Greg paired him with Aditya who had not had the opportunity to bowl much this season. He certainly seized his chance taking 1 for 11 from his four overs. Thomas also bowled well taking 3 for 17 from his four overs. Our spinners couldn't exercise their normal control, going for more runs than usual, but all our bowlers took wickets and stopped Harefield building any big partnerships before reaching 117 for 9 from their 20 overs.

In reply our batsmen made 119 for the loss of only two wickets from 16.4 overs with Greg making 42 before being caught and Kritin making 40 not out.
The team played well overall and it was a good response to the thrashing from Harrow St Mary in our previous match. We can still improve our fielding and the batsmen need to learn to push for singles when the ball is going to a deep fielder by watching and learning which ones are strong and which not so.
