Match report This was a painful result for the Stanmore boys. Harrow St Mary demonstrated the levels that Stanmore needs to achieve in order to compete for the league and although we didn't give up we were never really in the hunt. Losing the toss did us no favours. Two 11As stepped in to bring numbers up due to unavailabilty of five squad members and did a great job for us. Suffice to say HSMs openers made 195 before the loss of their first and only wicket in the 19th over. Ade Thomas of HSM made 127 not out and we can only reflect on dropping the only chance he offered in the second over. He certainly took advantage.

In the run chase we made 20 without loss in the first two overs but couldn't sustain that rate and wickets gradually tumbled with too much pressure imposed by the run rate needed to compete.

The boys need to learn the lessons of this game and go into our next match against Eastcote determined to show they are better than this result.
