Stanmore U10a won against Harrow st Marys U10a earlier today.

Having won the toss, we fielded first and immediately put HSM under pressure by taking a wicket each in the first 2 overs courtesy of Ed and Joseph.

HSM failed to score freely due to good fielding accounting for 2 run outs and good bowling from all the boys with maidens coming from Joseph and Ashir. HSM managed to get 238 for the loss of 4 wickets.

Our boys batted well with positive intent this time round. We had 2 unlucky run outs but there was sensible batting from top to bottom with good, positive thinking. We ended up with 257 for the loss of 4 wickets. A special mention has to go out to Tej who did really well as a sub this week.

Simon and I have noticed that the team is gelling together and coming along really well and this can only be due to the hard work the boys are putting in along with Darshan and us. The parents are also playing their part well and we can only get better from here on.
