Match report Under 11s’ got off to a great start with a 10 wicket win over Uxbridge in the Middlesex Cup.
Despite 24 extras from Stanmore, Uxbridge managed only 50 in their 20 Overs. Edward Stock started the proceedings well by removing both openers (2 for 6) in his first 2 Overs. A small partnership for the next wicket saw Uxbridge move on to 23 before Taif Choudhury got involved in the act. First with a peach of a delivery to bowl the opposition captain, then, to hold onto a tough catch at Mid On, to dismiss their highest run getter. Good fielding and the regular fall of wickets subjected Uxbridge to pressure before Imran Kermalli cleaned up the tail with some fierce and fast bowling to claim 3 for 9 for the match. Wicket a piece for Milan & Dhylan were the other wicket takers for Stanmore.

Slow but steady batting saw Stanmore through with 4.5 Overs to spare. Edward Stock 26 not out (2 fours) and Milan Harji 8 not out (1 four) sealed the game.
