Match report Always good to play a Friendly against different teams and we went down to Kenton to play a team in the league above us. They had only lost one match all season.
We lost the toss and they elected to bat. Poor fielding; catching the ball, stopping the ball and throwing the ball, all were not good to start with and this allowed Kenton to put on quick runs early. However, we then blitzed them with some quick wickets. Raeman took a couple mid way through. The pacy Robert and Vishay and the spinning Nikesh then finished them off towards the end. We had them all out, including their Middlesex player who was clean bowled by Vishay.
We then batted and started well, but then lost the two openers. Rohan and Dillon had a great stand of 50 plus to put us in to contention. Eventually the run rate got too high and we finished just 13 runs short. If only our fielding had been a bit sharper and tidier who knows!
