The Stanmore Cricket Club Lost by 54 Runs

Match report First loss for the season for Stanmore in a 2nd Round Cup game against superior Bessborough side. Bessborough won the toss and elected to bat and opener Sahil Vora scored 46 runs followed by Rishan Shah 34 not out and Priyesh Metha 44.
Stanmore presented Bessborough with at leat 40 runs in their score of 140 with very poor fielding.
In reply, Stanmore never got going against some very good pace and spin combination of Bessborough and eventually ended up with 86 for 6 wickets. Only Steven Reingold and Udeepa Meepagam reached double figures with 23 and 17 respectiveley.
Look forward to a better all round performance from Stanmore in their next league game.
