Match report For the first time this season we lost more than one wicket when we batted. This makes it very difficult to get everybody involved in the game, however I am sure future matches will even things out. Steven should now be pleased that he has an average at last. Unfortunately, the total we scored (71) was always going to be difficult to defend. I was pleasantly surprised that our fielding was improved a lot on the previous matches but we still need to work hard on that. Zunair had a brilliant result with 2 wickets for only 2 runs off his three overs. To my amazement we managed to pull the situation back which made for an extremely close result where Ickenham needed 2 runs to win off the last ball. The batsman missed it and we missed the chance to run a batsman out on the first run and then our fielding problems reappeared and we gave them a overthrow. I am sure our perfomances in the future will improve.
