The Stanmore Cricket Club Under 15A v Harrow st Mary's B on Wed 24 Apr 2002 at 6.00pm
The Stanmore Cricket Club Won Conceded

Match report This was not an encouraging result for a team with this amount of ability but there is a long time to go in the season and we should be able to recover. The main failing was the number of extras we gave away (21 as opposed to Harrow St Mary's 9). Having let them get so many runs we kept up with the requred rate for the first 5 overs but then we dropped behind and left ourselvestoo much to do in the last few overs. Niraj did magnificently well to get his 60 not out and captained the side well. I will be running a practice session for the under 15s this Sunday starting at 10 am - please be there.

N.B. Harrow St Mary's had a number of their 'A' team playing. I thought at the end of the game that, since these players had not yet played for the 'A' team, they would be transferred to the 'B' squad. However, Harrow St Mary's have decided not to do this but to just to use the game as a practice game and concede the points to us. I would like to applaud HSM for their honesty and openness.
