Match report It was cold, a little damp and a little dark, but we had a match to play and play it we did.
Lots of boys, as yet not selected in a team, were given a chance to play and thanks to the three boys who took their opportunity.
Radlett batted first and set a total of 108 in 16 overs. Certainly possible, but Radlett are a good side, including County players and an ex-England Captain's son.
Radlett only lost two wickets; both bowled by JACK OSBORNE and ROHAN ASHAR. A few disappointing misfields and equally disappointing dropped catches later, it was our turn.
A bit of a collapse early on, as our newcomers found it a bit tough, but as we only had 10 players, ROHAN ASHAR, went in again to avenge his initial 0. He did and scored 14. Second top scorer was JACK OSBORNE with two fours. Now it was getting dark and difficult to see and seemingly even colder. We were all out for 43, but this gave us a good experience, even if it was the U13C's first defeat in two seasons.
