The Stanmore Cricket Club Won Stanmore by 23 runs

Match report First League game of the season against Lohana (15 overs). Stanmore lost the toss and were asked to bat. James Worthington and Steven Reingold opened for Stanmore. Lost James early in the inning for 13 runs. Then followed a brilliant partnership of over 100 by skipper Grant and his younger brother Steven. Steven batted beautifully for 84 not out (13 fours and 3 sixes)well supported by Grant who scored 43 runs. Stanmore Under 15's scored 150 runs in 15 overs.

Lohana's reply was equally impressive and they finished with 127 for 5 off 15 overs. Grant Reingold was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 for 20 off 3 overs. All in all, we used 8 bowlers, Shabaz Ahmad and Himesh vekaria taking a wicket each.
