Match report The dampness in the air, the lack of sun and some big heavy dark clouds meant that we agreed a 15 Over match, in order to get to a finish. This was our first away fixture and after a win in the last match we turned up in a confident mood. Captain Mistri won the toss and elected to bat. In our 15 overs, we put 85 for 4 onto the scoreboard. A good target at almost 6 an over. Vice-Captain Parmar and Wicket-keeper Watson, both top scored(apart from their Wides total) with 11. We were happy with that. The Hillingdon innings began well for us. Vice-Captain Parmar knocked over the stumps with the 6th ball of the 1st over. He finshed with 3 1 6 2 figures, excellent...again. They were 13-3, but...their big left hander came in and absolutely smacked a quick 49, including 5 4s and 2 6s. He could certainly clump the ball. So we lost, but we were extremely unlucky to lose as the big chap was certainly the difference between the teams. We generally bowled very well and fielded very well. However, we now feel that we know how to play him and will know how to bowl to him next time. Unlucky chaps!
