Match report Unfortunately this match had to be rearranged to be played at Old Camdenians which was a problem to find and not a good pitch. Bessborough, however, did manage to post a surprisingly good score of 139 (off 15 overs since the weather was not good). Inevitably, all our bowlers finished with higher economy rates than I would hope for and only Matthew Shaw and Rishi Pindoria taking 1 wicket each. Our fielding still needs improvements but it is getting better and Joseph took a great catch on the boundary.
Steven, as usual, lead our reply with a magnificent 74 which continued until the first ball of the 14th over. He was helped by Zunair (13), Joseph (6) and Rishi (12). Once he was out the opposition thought the game was over and I felt they were probably right but Rishi decided otherwise moving on from his 1 run to the final 12 not out. Finally, Thomas came in and was able to hit the final ball for 4 to win the game. A great win. Just remember to ignore the baying hounds of Bessborough.
