The Stanmore Cricket Club Est. 1853
Established in 1853, Stanmore Cricket Club celebrated 150 years of existence in 2003. The club is one of the oldest institutions in the North West of London.
Currently the club boasts a membership of over 300 (including junior members), who combine to form a very strong unit of players in the respective levels of the game. With the individual commitment and ardent support all round, Stanmore Cricket Club continues to be a strong outfit in the Middlesex county cricket league.
The club welcomes new members of all levels to maintain the high standards set by the past players.
The club has nurtured and produced many Test and County Cricketers of excellent quality throughout the years. The two famous servants to have played Tests for England in the last two decades are Angus Fraser and Mark Ramprakash.
Stanmore CC prides itself on the friendly atmosphere, excellent facilities and a comfortable clubhouse. The club is located very close to the Stanmore Underground station.
